Installation of enclosures, racking, wire management, outlets, pulling cable, fire stopping, termination and testing/certifying including organizing, forming, dressing and labeling cables to industry standards. Terminate, assemble and install 8-pin modular connectors, patch panels, 66/110 blocks and light crimp connectors. Fiber Optic cable expertise with all types of fiber, fusion splicing and installation methods. Fusion Splicing experience strongly considered. Diagnose and correct copper and fiber malfunctions. Accurately test copper and fiber (multimode and single mode) cables to required certification parameters utilizing appropriate test equipment as necessary. Knowledge of Fluke DSX-8000 and Fluke Certifiber Pro certifiers as well as OTDR testing and analysis. Experience with EMT, RMC, IMC and LFMC conduit installation as well as OSP conduit/cabling a plus. Attend training and safety meetings.
