Books of Wonder is New York City’s largest and oldest independent children’s bookstore, now in its 46th year in business. We are seeking an extremely organized individual to be our Website Fulfillment Coordinator. In this role you will be in charge of organizing and preparing (prior to shipment) all online orders Books of Wonder receives through our website, including those containing multiple items that need to be carefully coordinated. Integral to this job is handling customer service phone calls and emails concerning order fulfillment, helping coordinate author signing campaigns, and helping assemble orders with signed bookplates, promotional and gifts items to be included with orders, and more. This is a full-time position, Sundays through Thursdays from 10am-6pm or 11am-7pm at $18/hr. After one year of consistent and positive employment pay will increase to $19/hr. This candidate will work directly with the eCommerce Manager. As web customer service representative, you will be responsible for assisting customers with their online orders. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, and possesses strong communication skills. Experience with Shopify is a plus.
