Cook is responsible for aiding in the organization, set up and cooking of the preparation of hot and cold food production, maintenance of quality and/or portion control, and the maintenance of sanitation and safety standards. Line Cook coordinating and work with the other kitchen staff and participates in production recipe and product development, ordering. Main Duties: Setting up and breaking down each morning's breakfast tables. Maintaining the safety and appearance of the dining room and cleaning the area in preparation for the next shift. This may include replenishing silverware, sugar caddies and condiments, light to moderate food preparation, refilling beverage containers, mopping, wiping and sweeping, clearing dirty plates from tables, relaying customer needs to the kitchen and providing or refilling drinks. Additional Duties: Provide a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere to guests. Answering phone calls may also be delegated to the breakfast server. Other duties may be assigned by management. Skill Requirements: Aside from the ability to perform all the duties delegated to the breakfast attendant, the attendant must possess good communication skills. As the position calls for working in a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment, the attendant should be courteous, efficient and friendly. Attendants must have a strong capability to multitask, be able to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 25 lbs. and work with cleaning chemicals. Clean and professional appearance a necessity. Must be punctual and dependable. 25-30 hours per week.

We make our food from scratch and that requires additional skills that aren't taught in most kitchens.
