Experience with steering and suspension systems is desirable. •Use hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, power tools, pneumatic wrenches, and jacks. •Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and equipment lubrication. •Keep detailed documentation of all service and repairs performed. •Other duties as assigned. Job Qualifications: •Must be 18+ years of age •Must be able to speak, write, and read in English fluently •Must provide own hand tools adequate for job functions •Valid driver’s license required •Minimum one year of truck and/or trailer repair experience •Unrestricted ability to walk, stand, bend, stoop, squat, lift (up to 75 lbs.), push, pull, climb, and lie on back in a horizontal position for prolonged periods Position is contingent upon a successful background check, an acceptable motor vehicle record check, and the ability to pass a drug screen, including THC. Requirements •3 years minimum of remodel construction experience. New construction + other woodworking experience is also appreciated. •Have reliable transportation to and from work. Pickup truck or work van preferred. •A professional set of hand and power tools •Be willing to travel to job-sites in and around the Portland metro area •Be punctual and professional in appearance •Proficiency in basic math and fractions •Work between 25-35 hours per week •Ability to lift 50 lbs. Preferred but not required: •Ability to tow a tool trailer. •An interest in Japanese carpentry and design.
