STEEL PLANT APPRENTICE – CAREER OPPORTUNITIES (Caldwell)
Gayle Manufacturing Company (GMC) is a structural steel manufacturing company recruiting employees for our new, large facility in Caldwell, ID, as well as for our plant in Nampa, ID. GMC currently has open positions offering excellent career opportunities for ambitious and responsible individuals to be trained in various production activities; including opportunities to train in and operate CNC machinery.
Qualifications / Requirements:
• Previous experience in manufacturing or forklift operation may be helpful.
• GMC provides extensive employee training, so enthusiasm, energy, and a desire to build a career are most important, and lead to opportunities and advancement.
• 10-hour shifts (Monday-Friday) with some 8-hour Saturday shifts are common, and a shift incentive is paid to selected employees working GMC’s 2nd shift.
Compensation / Benefits:
• GMC’s pending benefits package includes employer-paid health insurance premiums, as well as employer-funded retirement plans, Paid Time Off, and paid vacations.
• Current starting apprentice pay = $23 p/hr., with an increase up to $24 p/hr. when transitioning to regular status at the 90-day employment milestone.
• Employees are evaluated periodically and have the potential to significantly increase their responsibilities and pay.
• The Initial Annual Compensation Package, including employer-paid health insurance premiums with normal overtime, ranges from $76,000 to $92,000, which does not include GMC’s employer-funded retirement plans, Paid Time Off, and paid vacations.
• Notably, there are ongoing opportunities for continuous growth and advancement at GMC.
