We are looking for an assistant who is mechanically inclined, energetic, and reliable. Your job is to keep our facility safe, neat, and running smoothly. Every day you will complete the tasks on our facilities checklists and take care of any issues that arise. Can you speak English fluently? You will Assist our Facilities Manager. Since we are a cabinetry shop, experience with woodworking equipment in a manufacturing facility is ideal. Are you able to drive a forklift? Do you have a valid drivers' license? Do you have a good attitude about work? Can you deal with co-workers professionally and in a friendly way? Do you have your own tools, including wrenches, screwdrivers, sockets, and pliers? (We will provide a roll-around cart for your tools.) You will help to maintain and repair tools and machinery, which includes first vacuuming sawdust, also perform preventative maintenance on equipment like moulders, CNC's, power tools, etc. You will take care of our building and facilities - inside and outside, including snow removal, some landscaping, etc. ** This is an ASSISTANT position that can pay from $18/hour UP TO $24/HOUR based on your skills and experience. ** Pay increases are based on your job performance, enthusiasm, willingness to work, ability to follow instructions, and attention to detail.
