Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join the G+D team as Secure Production Operators III in our secure Bolingbrook, IL facility. We have two shifts available. 1st shift will work Monday through Friday 6am-2pm. 2nd shift will operate Monday through Friday 2pm-10pm. This role involves handling sensitive materials and operating complex machinery for the production of high-security items. Duties & Essential Job Functions: Operate and maintain the machine, ensuring high-quality production of secure product. Follow strict security protocols to handle sensitive materials and personal data. Perform routine machine checks and maintenance to ensure optimal operation and identify any issues. Collaborate with the quality assurance team to uphold product standards and identify any defects. Document production processes and maintain accurate records of materials used and products produced. Assist in troubleshooting machine issues and coordinate with technical support for complex problems. Access daily work files from the workstations on the production floor. Help in delivering the correct materials to each workstation in order to meet production goals for the shift. Monitor inventory levels of materials required to complete jobs and alert manager if stock is not adequate for the day's production. Run daily production as trained and directed for highly secure personalization on mailing machines. Perform basic data entry into Excel as needed. Relay issues and concerns to Operations Manager for HSA department. Follow and comply with policies, procedures, processes and general company information. Adhere to safety guidelines and company policies at all times. Required Skills & Qualifications: High School diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of 3 years of experience operating advanced machinery. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve machine issues. Advanced understanding of the production process and quality standards. Ability to mentor and provide guidance to level one operators. Basic mechanical skills and ability to operate machinery. Must be willing to stand for the majority of the work day. Reason through problems involving set-up and operation. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex procedures. Physical Requirements & Work Environment: Regular exposure to machinery noise; ear protection may be required. Fast-paced production floor requiring prolonged periods of standing and operation of machinery. Requires working on hard floor - regular standing, walking, bending, squatting, twisting and stooping. Requires the ability to lift 15 pounds with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Regular and consistent attendance, including overtime whether on a voluntary or mandatory basis. Requires visual acuity to operate a computer, read a computer screen, read policies and manuals. Requires manual dexterity to operate a computer, phone, fax, and scanner. Job Summary: We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented individuals to join the G+D team in our secure Bolingbrook, IL facility. 2nd shift will work Monday through Friday 2pm-10pm. The Inserting Machine Operator IV will prepare, supply and operation production machines in the Personalization Department within the High Security Area. Duties & Essential Job Functions: Prepare, supply and operate the production machines during the production process and monitor relevant stages to ensure that products are manufactured or assembled according to established parameters. Understand the entire range of functions as well as the operating sequence of the machine. Load materials on the machine in the order they are to be placed on the table. Read job specifications and previous run data to determine machine parameters and material. Ensure proper Lockout/Tag-out procedures have been followed before performing maintenance on the machine. Meet or exceed job standards for line speeds, scrap, and set-up times. Load and unload stock. Report any necessary maintenance issues to the Maintenance Department. Work cooperatively with the Quality Assurance department to ensure products meet specifications. Confirm required documentation / data is completed accurately and timely. Occasionally verify material conformance to specification, using measuring devices such as micrometers, tape measures and/or calipers. Maintain cleanliness of work area and equipment. Verify that guards at pinch points and potential burn areas are present before operating the machine. Perform proper and thorough inspections. Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies and procedures. Take immediate action to correct safety and security issues. Complete preventative maintenance requirements; follows manufacturer's instructions; troubleshoots malfunctions. Perform related job duties as assigned by supervisor. Required Skills & Qualifications: High School diploma or GED preferred. Minimum of 1 year of experience running production machine in a manufacturing environment. Requires eyesight correctable to 20/20 to operate equipment. Requires normal color perception. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English. Job Summary: Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all card personalization and fulfillment equipment. Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on all factory support equipment. This position will report to the Maintenance Manager. First shift runs from 5:30 am - 1:30 pm and third shift runs 11 pm -7 am Monday through Friday. Job Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair all card personalization and fulfillment equipment. Troubleshooting: Diagnose malfunctions in electronic equipment, perform tests, and follow technical manuals to ensure proper functioning. Fabricate replacement parts when necessary. Perform preventative maintenance on all card personalization / fulfillment equipment and support equipment. Work with machine operator to identify and resolve issues with setup and job files. Work with IT to identify and resolve machine communications related issues. Implement programs to increase OEE. Utilize KPI's to improve equipment uptime and decrease downtime. Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of repairs, tests and inspections, and document processes for future reference. Demonstrate a strong working knowledge of process controls. Job Specifications: Must physically be able to bend, stretch, and stoop, but not limited to only these physical activities. Requires lifting of 40 lbs. or more without aid. Requires normal hand, eye and walking coordination. Must be able to work overtime and weekends as needed. Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED equivalent required. Completion of Electro/Mechanical Course from a recognized Technical Institute is preferred. 3-5 years of experience in general maintenance (multimeters, soldering stations, precision screwdrivers, rotary tools). Required Skills & Knowledge: Requires a strong working knowledge of electronics and pneumatic systems. Must possess the ability to read and understand electrical/pneumatic schematics.
