Overview Russo Bakery is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented bun/bread packager to join our team. The Packager will play a crucial role in ensuring our bread is inspected, packaged, and prepared for distribution to our customers. This position requires attention to detail, basic math skills, strong communication and the ability to be on your feet throughout the duration of the shift. Applicants should be able to push & pull our bread racks while also bending and lifting our bread trays/crates continuously throughout the shift. Duties Assemble and package bread and buns in accordance with daily orders. Work on an assembly line of 2-6 in stations throughout the day Ensure all product and packaging is of quality. Perform basic math to work through daily order list Requirements Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality assurance. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift product as needed. Read and interpret work instructions and product/component drawings. Follow work order instructions and accurately record task times. Use precision measuring equipment to check parts in accordance with engineering documents. Maintain a clean and serviced work area and machines. Perform other duties as assigned. Additional Skills & Qualifications 2-5 years machining experience in moderate to high volume production environments. Experience in setting up, operating, and adjusting both manual and CNC lathe machining. Ability to inspect parts using micrometers, gage pins, thread gages, digital/analog indicators, surface plates, calipers, and other tools. Ability to read and comprehend production Bill of Materials and production orders. Team player, professional, driven to first-time accuracy, and able to work under pressure. Work Environment This position requires working the 3rd shift OR the 1st shift. The work environment includes the use of advanced CNC machining technology and requires adherence to safety and cleanliness standards.
