Inspects meters periodically and monitors operations of all stationary equipment such as high-pressure steam equipment, hot water heaters, water chilling equipment, air handling equipment and emergency power generators. Records in logbook all readings of the various gauges, meters and thermometers monitored. Evaluates the need for a change in service and adjusts controls to bring equipment into prescribed or recommended operating ranges. Checks computer printout for alarms or irregularities in operating equipment and takes necessary action, such as informing proper authorities or cancelling alarms.
