This position assists the Resident Manager with the physical maintenance of the project and equipment as it pertains to the common areas, grounds and individual units. Job tasks include but may not be limited to the following • Maintain the overall appearance and cleanliness of the community by ensuring that grounds, amenities, building exteriors/interiors, market-ready units interior, walkways, curbs, signage, leasing office, central garbage areas, parking lots and other buildings and common areas are free of debris, trash, graffiti and other items which affect the appearance of the community. All deficiencies and safety issues are reported immediately. • Respond to resident requests for maintenance and service by taking appropriate action to repair and/or restore service within the quality and time standards established by the company. • Ensure that apartments are ready for occupancy by performing any repairs that may require electrical, plumbing, carpentry, appliance repair, carpet cleaning, painting, patching, texturing, basic apartment cleaning and other miscellaneous equipment maintenance and repairs. • Maintain tools and equipment and ensure that they are in proper working order and request replacements as necessary. • Make sure all outside contractors or subcontractors provide certificates of insurance for workers compensation insurance or waivers when applicable and provide proof of a contractor’s license. • Know the location of the main water line cutoff, all apartment and fixture cutoffs, main gas line cutoff, and the sewer cleanouts. • Perform cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, cleaning windows, dusting, emptying wastebaskets, picking up litter, etc. Experience, Knowledge and Skills: • Maintenance experience in the multi-family, hospitality, or similar industry • Competency in residential plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, painting, and drywall • Knowledge of and experience in HVAC and carpentry a plus • Customer service experience

At Fingers Crossed, you will have the opportunity to get your hands dirty and participate in the entire process of transforming grapes into wine. A typical workday includes equipment sanitation, grape sorting, fermentation, barrel prep, pump overs and punch downs. The successful candidate must be dependable, self-motivated, work well both individually as well as in a team environment, possess a strong work ethic and attention to detail. This is a physically demanding job, and applicants should be able to lift 50lbs, climb ladders, and work long shifts standing up. During harvest (October-November), one must be available to work nights and weekends as needed. After harvest concludes, we return to a typical M-F (40hr) work week. While previous experience in winemaking is encouraged, a positive and hard-working attitude is the only requirement - we are happy to train and teach you everything needed to grow and succeed with us! DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES - Participate in all aspects of the winemaking process from grape to bottle, cleaning, packing and shipping. Helios Vacation Rentals is looking to hire a part-time experienced handyman for our team. We have 30 vacation rentals throughout Coachella Valley from Palm Springs to Indio. Schedule is approximately 25 hours per week depending on the season. Schedule is flexible and mostly during the week between 8am-5pm. Availability during weekends or evenings in case of emergency repairs is a must. Pay is $30/ hr during the first month probation period, and then $35/hr thereafter. Responsibilities: - Perform general maintenance and repairs on within vacation rental properties. - Repairs include but are not limited to: basic plumbing, caulking, basic electrical work, drywall repair, small paint jobs, furniture installation and repair, hanging art work and tvs, repairing appliances like dishwashers and stoves, installing cameras, doorbells and door locks etc. - Address and resolve handyman-related issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction. - Maintain a clean and organized work environment - Communicate effectively in English with property management and guests regarding maintenance needs. - Document all work and travel time between vacation homes Requirements: Must live within Coachella Valley Must have prior work experience as a maintenance tech.
