This position is for occasional hours as needed during the week and some weekends. Ideal candidates are looking for bonus money (not full-time income). Some parts of the year are busier than others. About the Role: As an Auction Assistant, you’ll support the on-site and online operations of our estate sales. You’ll be part of a small, friendly team that helps prepare homes for auction, photograph items, catalog them, and support buyer pickups after the auction ends. Key Responsibilities: 🪶 Photo Day Assistance (On-site) Travel to client homes (typically within 60 minutes of Londonderry, NH). Help stage and photograph auction items — everything from furniture to china cabinet contents to sheds and garages. Ensure items are clearly and accurately photographed for our online listings using our specifications. 🖼️ Catalog Creation (Remote) Use our auction software to upload and organize photos. Write simple, accurate titles for items. Training provided — we’ll walk you through the process step by step. 📦 Pick-Up Day Support (On-site) Help organize sold items ahead of scheduled buyer pickups. Greet buyers and assist them in locating and collecting their purchases. We’d Love to Hear From You If You: Are detail-oriented and enjoy organizing things visually. Have basic familiarity with antiques, collectibles, or vintage items — personal interest is fine! Have experience with online selling platforms (eBay, Poshmark, Marketplace) or other product photography. Are comfortable moving around a home, lifting light-to-moderate items, and working in varied spaces (garages, basements, etc.). Can work independently and follow instructions with care. Have reliable transportation and a flexible schedule. Have the ability to work efficiently and make good common sense decisions. Bonus (Not Required): Experience in photography, retail, staging, or estate sales. A love of old stuff and a curious spirit!
