You can preview our work on our website: https://www.made-anu.com/ The Role We’re looking for a skilled, detail-oriented sewist to join our studio in Greenfield, MA on a contract basis. You’ll help cut, color-design, sew, and finish upcycled cashmere neck warmers. This role is hands-on and collaborative — you’ll be part of refining our production systems as we grow. Responsibilities: - Cut, design, and sew neck warmers from upcycled cashmere - Use existing patterns and design direction while making thoughtful color and layout choices for each unique piece - Maintain high quality and consistency across production runs - Help develop and document efficient production systems - Work primarily in the studio using provided machines and tools (some flexible off-site work possible) - Communicate clearly about timelines, progress, and challenges About You - You have experience sewing garments. Home skills are great. Big plus if you have experience in small batch production. - You care about precision and efficiency in equal measure - You enjoy iterative work and improving systems and workflows - You can manage your time independently while collaborating in a small studio environment - Bonus: experience with knitwear or cashmere, or working in a sustainability-focused context, or have experience recreating outside in the winter The Details Contract type: 1099 contractor Pay structure is per item, and can be discussed in further detail Hours: Flexible — work on your own schedule once trained Location: Primarily in-studio (Greenfield, MA), with the option to complete some tasks remotely Start date: ASAP To Apply Email Cristina at info@made-anu.com with a brief introduction and a few photos of your sewing work or previous projects.
