We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Metal Welder/Fabricator to join the Flyhouse team. This hands-on role involves welding, cutting, and assembling custom metal components from draftings and technical drawings. The ideal candidate has strong fabrication skills, a solid understanding of MIG and TIG welding, and the ability to work independently on complex builds.

Compensation

Key Responsibilities:
⢠Perform MIG and TIG welding on a variety of metals (primarily steel)
⢠Cut, drill, and punch metal components to spec
⢠Read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and draftings
⢠Set up and build welding jigs and fixtures for repeatable fabrication
⢠Operate basic machining tools (saws, drill press, grinders, etc.)
⢠Ensure all welds meet strength and quality standards
⢠Maintain a clean and safe work area
⢠Work closely with the design and production team to meet project deadlines
Qualifications:
⢠3+ years of welding and fabrication experience preferred
⢠Proficient in MIG and TIG welding techniques
⢠Skilled in steel cutting, drilling, and metal finishing
⢠Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings and technical draftings
⢠Experience with machining and lathe operations is a strong plus
⢠Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
⢠Ability to work independently and take initiative
⢠Must be reliable, safety-conscious, and team-oriented

⢠Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods
