I ask because seems like trucking has just gotten so fancy and weird. We are small, 17 trucks, been around for close to 30 years. We like to shake hands and do paper applications. We are good to people and we are a pretty laid back environment. We just had a 20 year employee retire (sad face) and need a Class A CDL driver with 2 years experience to do local work. We have manual trucks so cannot accommodate an auto restriction. If you are flexible we can offer the hours, 40+. 7 am -3 pm are pretty typical hours but we would like someone that is flexible and can go outside of this as well, it is not written in stone. We do some shuttles quite a bit, a lot of Morrison to Murfreesboro, Morrison to La Vergne, but we also do some local cartage and LTL. If you have any flatbed experience that is a plus! We take a few loads to Nashville a few times a week. No tarping!
