Click Here to Apply Forklift Operator Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Forklift Operator for a t-shirt company based on Clements Ferry in Charleston, SC. In this role, you will operate both powered and non-powered equipment to efficiently move materials throughout the warehouse.  Pay Rate  $18.75 to $19.75 per hour  Schedule and Hours  1st shift: 6:00 am until 2:00 pm, 6:30 am until 2:30 pm 2nd shift: 2:30 pm until 10:30 pm 3rd shift: 10:30 pm until 6:30 am Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities  • Operate various types of equipment, such as forklifts, walkies, reaches, pacers, crowns, clamps, high-reach trucks, and pallet jacks. • Perform pallet picks, case picks, pallet building, and load cases onto and off of conveyors. • Handle cases weighing over 50 lbs. consistently throughout the shift  • Ensure materials are moved and stored accurately according to operational guidelines. • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.                                                                        Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements  • Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended period. • Comfortable lifting 50 lbs regularly • Ability to follow instructions and work both independently and as part of a team. • Prior experience operating forklifts, walkies, reaches, pacers, crowns, clamps, high-reach trucks, and pallet jacks.                                     • Must be reliable and punctual. Position summary: Operate CNC press brake and laser cutting equipment, in both a prototyping and production capacity. Conduct “job shop” sheet metal work to fulfill new or existing production orders, on a recurring and repeat basis, according to required delivery schedules. In addition to production work, conduct R&D sheet metal work, in the form of short run/one-off projects to prototype new designs as they are created, and provide design input and feedback as applicable to improve and help create new designs. Manage the production schedule and keep a running priority of existing and upcoming work to ensure deadlines are met, for both R&D and production jobs. Employee is expected to carry a manufacturing project from raw material, through production, to packaging and prep for shipping. Ideal applicant has experience in welding, as well as other manufacturing processes like fastener installation and using hand/power tools, although these abilities can be trained on the job to a certain extent. Primary materials to be used are mild steel, stainless steel and aluminum, with potential to use additional materials as required. Employee may be needed to deliver parts directly to clients, generally located in the greater Seattle area.
