EXPERIENCED CNC Machine Operator for Halpern Titanium's 15-person CNC machine shop in Palmer. Any candidate must have 2-3 years experience as a CNC operator. Must have good measuring skills, the ability to set-up new jobs and read prints. Experience milling titanium and composites is a plus. We are an audio manufacturer based in Deerfield MA. We are looking for a part-time employee to help with production tasks including making sub-assemblies and preparing cabinets to packaging products. Soldering experience preferred but not required. Part-time, short term position with potential for longer term. Pay commensurate with experience $18-21/hr. Uvitron International, a developer and manufacturer of UV light curing systems, is looking for a motivated individual to serve as a full-time Shipping and Receiving clerk. In addition to high organizational skills and punctuality, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to work on parallel tasks in a high pace environment with set deadlines. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for checking-in UPS, FedEx, DHL, and other courier deliveries; inspecting and stocking items received; verifying against invoices and packing slips; and preparing discrepancy reports as needed. - Responsible for shipping out UPS, FedEx, DHL, and freight shipments while ensuring timely and accurate processing. - Maintain filing system for customer orders and utilize shipping/inventory software to track all inventory items stored in the warehouse. - Organize warehouse inventory, update records in warehouse management systems, and perform general housekeeping and cleaning tasks. - Perform ISO 9001-related tasks such as processing non-conforming material, logging late shipments, and maintaining compliance records. - Assist in assembly or purchasing departments as time permits, coordinating with suppliers and logistics partners to resolve delivery or shipment issues. - Perform other related duties as required, including troubleshooting shipping software, and coordinating with UPS, FedEx, and DHL representatives on service or account issues. Qualifications: - Experienced in using carrier shipping software such as UPS WorldShip, FedEx Ship Manager, and DHL Easy Ship to process, track, and manage shipments. - High School diploma or equivalent, or GED - Knowledge of basic computer skills required. - The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel or crouch. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds. - Strong interpersonal skills for working with outside vendors. - International Shipping experience is a plus. - Fundamental understanding of drawings specs is a plus. - Ability to work in a team environment. - Must be dependable, motivated, organized, trustworthy.
