Our Firm is currently seeking a DOB Project Manager to join our construction consulting firm in Midtown, Manhattan. This position is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team and utilize their construction expertise on interesting and challenging projects. PM Responsibilities are: • Review Plans for completeness. • Perform limited code/zoning consultation. • Develop filing strategies for all types of projects. • Prepare filing form work. • Coordinate C.O. signoffs; attend field meetings, mock inspections and construction inspections. • Meet with DOB Staff when needed for large scale projects. • Manage Assistant Project Managers and Field Staff to be sure projects are on track. Also be able to: • Process DOB filing sign-offs • Prepare form work for and obtain initial DOB Work permits • Communicate permit expiration with clients and renew permits • Establish safety registrations and general superintendent registrations • Track and Renew contractor insurance Key requirements: • Must be a Class 2 filing representative. • Proficient with DOB on-line systems (BIS, DOB Now and E-filing) • Understanding of DOB project filing techniques, including HUB filings in order to determine permit and signoff requirements • Ability to effectively work with clients • Ability to communicate problems with staff if they occur • Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously • Coordinate and track the progress of the tasks with staff expediters. The Building Engineering Division at LaBella provides complete building engineering services including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural engineering. Services range from feasibility studies and analysis through project design and construction. Our engineers are well versed in new construction, renovations, additions, analysis, special structures, and design/build projects for a variety of clients. Life Cycle Project Manager
Summary: Seeking a skilled Project Manager (life cycle PM) to support the delivery of Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) through effective management of CIP and/or non-CIP projects. Responsible for managing projects throughout all phases of a project, including, but not limited to, business case development for project initiation, study, design, construction, procurement, operations turnover and project closeout. A life cycle PM may manage projects related to our water resource recovery facility (WRRF), our combined sewer overflow (CSO) facilities, our sewage pumping stations (SPS), or our regional wastewater collection system (RWCS). Job Responsibilities:  Communicate with and manage the project activities of all project stakeholders, all project disciplines, and regulatory agencies or authorities having jurisdiction.
