Job Description: The Residential Electrical Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for residential electrical projects. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and team members. Key Responsibilities: Review project specifications, prints, and other documentation to prepare accurate cost estimates. Perform site visits as necessary to assess project scope and requirements. Work closely with clients to understand their needs and provide cost-effective solutions. Collaborate with project managers and field teams to ensure estimates are comprehensive and realistic. Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Maintain and update cost databases for materials, labor, and equipment. Prepare detailed proposal documents, including scope of work, pricing, and timelines. Track and analyze project costs to ensure estimates remain accurate and competitive. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, pricing, and regulations. Qualifications: Proven experience as an Electrical Estimator, preferably in the residential sector. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and construction processes. Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word). Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as needed. Preferred Qualifications: Residential Wireman or Journeyman Card. We are a locally owned and established asphalt maintenance company with over 20 years of experience in the industry. We’re looking to add a couple of new top hands to our crew. The Paving Supervisor position requires the ability to operate the following construction equipment; Skip Loader, Skid-steer, Back Hoe, Vibratory Compactor, Compressor with Jackhammer, & Plate Compactor. Minimum of 3 years’ experience as Paving Foreman. (include previous jobs or experience examples) Experience with Parking Lots and Repair & Maintenance projects. Must have supervisory skills handling crews ranging from 3-7 people. Must maintain high-quality workmanship. Must be capable and proficient in interacting with trucking subcontractors and other miscellaneous subs. Ability to travel for work during the week or weekend when needed. Able to work weekends when needed. Ability to pass drug test and physical. Clean driving record/valid drivers’ license (CDL license a plus). Responsibilities will include: Oversee, supervise, and run daily operations of one of our Asphalt Paving Crews, including the safety, quality, and personnel management aspects. Applicant should possess excellent communication, leadership, and management skills. Must be able to accept out of town work and/or occasional weekend work Ability to manage field operations required. Must be able to read civil engineer site plans. Support of safety & health programs, including daily tailgate meetings, toolbox talks, accident investigations, and development and implementation of corrective action plans. Enforcement of all safety & environmental policies, and all applicable OSHA rules and regulations. Provide guidance and development of hourly personnel to meet performance requirements. Ability to supervise other company trades (sealcoating & striping) and willingness to perform various trades.
