Job Description: As a truck equipment installer technician, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining various truck bodies and equipment, such as dump bodies, flatbeds, water tanks, plows, chippers, and custom-built machines. You will also perform 12v electrical installation, welding, fabrication and troubleshooting tasks. Requirements: To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • At least one year of experience in the commercial truck/truck equipment industry. • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems • Ability to read and follow blueprints, schematics, and work instructions. • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools and other specialized equipment. • Access to tools such as wrenches, sockets, drills, impacts, and grinders. • Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various weather conditions. • Attention to detail, quality, and safety.
