caregiver rio vista (fairfield / vacaville)

Seeking a female caregiver for my mother who lives in Rio Vista. Need someone reliable, responsible, caring, and trustworthy with good communication skills. She has dementia and needs help with: - keeping blood pressure within designated range - measuring blood pressure accurately - ensuring that she takes medication daily - fall prevention, support when walking - encouragement to be active, walks around the block - cleaning house - laundry - light meal prep, keeping her on a healthy diet Serious candidates only please. Currently, this is not a live-in position. The bulk of our caregivers are paid through the state IHSS program, at a rate of 17.70$ an hour. Sick leave is also provided as an extra bonus.You must have a Social Security card as it is paid through the state. They require you to complete a brief, in-person training and background check before you can get paid. These are held infrequently. If you are comfortable with waiting to get paid, you can start working before completing the in-person event. They will pay you retroactively up to 90 days. NOTE: People who work 65 hours or more a month through IHSS qualify for supplemental health, vision, and dental benefits. I am also looking for people who can cover a few late night hours, through a different agency. This pays 18$/hr.
