Dental Assistant with Front Office Duties (sunnyvale)

Position Summary: We’re a patient-focused dental practice in Sunnyvale looking for a dependable, enthusiastic Dental Assistant who’s equally confident supporting front office operations. Clinical Responsibilities: • Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures • Set up and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms • Take digital X-rays and impressions (if certified) • Document patient treatments and update records accurately • Provide post-op instructions and ensure patient comfort • Maintain infection control protocols and equipment maintenance, including operatory cleanliness and infection control protocols. Front Office Responsibilities: • Greet and check-in/check-out patients in a friendly, professional manner • Schedule and confirm appointments • Answer phones, schedule appointments, and manage recalls • Verify insurance eligibility and process claims • Collect co-pays and balances; manage patient billing • Maintain organized and accurate patient records Qualifications: • RDA or DA certification with experience (as required by State) • X-ray/Radiology license (if applicable) • Front desk experience in a dental or medical setting preferred • Familiarity with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental) • Strong communication and customer service skills • Punctual, Detail-oriented and able to multitask efficiently • Bilingual a plus What We Offer: • Competitive hourly rate, depending on experience • Friendly, supportive team and work environment • Paid holidays after 6 months How to Apply: Please email your resume and brief introduction to info@olivetreedental.com, or contact us at 408-773-8870.
