OKEN is a contemporary Asian American Restaurant with a focus on Korean and Japanese food. Dishes are inspired by authentic & traditional Asian cuisine with an influence of modern techniques. We will provide a casual dining experience highlighting the quality of food in an elegant and modern environment. You must love food and beverage. Instagram: @okenoakland BOH Prep Cook Prep Cook Job requirements and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Ability to lift at least 50 lbs At least 2-4 years of kitchen experience Strong knife skills.. Must have knowledge or breaking down fish. Must have knowledge of general protein butchery. Ability to multi-task and work with a sense of urgency Must be able to work well in fast pace team environments Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and clear communication skills Interest in all types of Asian cuisine specifically Korean and Japanese Must be able to work Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday This is a part time position 3 days a week. Prep Cook: $20 - 22 per hour plus % of tip
