It is close to transportation (two blocks from the 25th Street R line, a short walk from the 36th Street station, and a short bike ride to downtown Brooklyn), restaurants, bars, a few minutes from Green-Wood Cemetery, and near both Sunset Park and Park Slope, with all they have to offer. It is in an apartment on the top story of a three unit house. The owners/landlords live in the basement unit, and are very nice people. I am the tenant, and you would sign an Roommate Agreement with me. To move in will cost the first month's rent ($1,200) plus a security deposit of $1,200, for a total of $2,400. The apartment in good condition, gets excellent light, and has nice air flow. The bedroom for rent has two windows and a closet. The pictures of the bedroom shows it when it was furnished by a previous occupant. All current furniture can/will be removed. ABOUT ME: I am a responsible high school teacher who has lived in the Sunset Park area since 2016. I'm looking for a roommate who is financially responsible, respectful of common areas, helps to keep the apartment clean, and doesn't mind keeping the volume down after 9:30pm (I have to go to bed early because I wake up early each day).
