ShareJob Description: $$$ 2000.00 SIGN ON BONUS $$$$ We are seeking a reliable and hard-working driver to join our team in the Midwest! The average miles are between 2000 and 2500 per week. 50% drop and hook, 50% live unload. This opportunity is for a Monday to Friday night or Saturday morning position and home for the weekend. If you would like to be out longer, we can work that out for you. We have late model equipment, some with 10 speed transmissions and some automatic transmissions. Duties Include: 1. Transportation: - Pickup and deliver loads safely and on time. - Follow scheduled routes or adjust based on instructions and traffic conditions. 2. Vehicle Maintenance: - Preform dot inspections daily (oil, tire pressure, brakes, lights, etc.). - Report issues and schedule maintenance as needed to keep the truck in working order. 3. Loading and Unloading: - Drop/Hook trailers. - Securely load and unload cargo to prevent damage. 4. Documentation: - Maintain accurate records (elogs, mileage, fuel, customer signatures). - Ensure proper documentation for all deliveries of transportation activities. 5. Customer Service: - Communicate with clients, customers, in a professional and courteous manner. - Handle complaints or issues when they arise and report back to management if needed. 6. Compliance: - Follow traffic laws, DOT regulations, and company policies. - Maintain a valid driver's license and medical card and any necessary endorsements. 7. Safety: - Maintaining a clean and safe work environment. - Stay aware of surroundings to prevent accidents or theft.
