Quality Assurance: Conduct thorough inspections to identify any remaining dirt, damage, or imperfections, ensuring all vehicles meet Kniesel’s Collision’s high-quality standards before delivery. Cosmetic Touch-Ups: Perform minor cosmetic enhancements such as paint touch-ups, headlight polishing, and blemish correction to improve overall vehicle appearance. Inventory Management: Monitor and restock detailing supplies and tools to maintain adequate inventory. Other Duties: Perform additional responsibilities as directed by the Production Manager or General Manager. Skills and Requirements: Prior experience in automotive detailing or a related field is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to excellence. Ability to work efficiently both independently and in a team environment. Basic knowledge of automotive cleaning products and procedures. Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. Physically able to stand, kneel, bend for extended periods, and lift up to 50 lbs. Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, HVAC systems, diesel engine repair, brake repair, alignment procedures, and tire service. DOT brake certification 609 AC certified is a plus but not required Experience in welding and fabrication is a plus. Ability to lift heavy objects as required by the job duties. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work. Previous experience in service technician roles or similar positions is highly desirable.
