POSITION SUMMARY: Hardware assembly with hand tools into parts across one or more production areas ensuring required standards of quality are met DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES: • Demonstrate good hand and eye coordination with the ability to use both hands in installing small hardware pieces (screws/rivets) and insulation. • Optimize daily production and on-time delivery performance • Notifies Supervisor of problems which affect the production/quality of parts • Completes all assignments in a timely manner and procedures are followed. • Responsible for quality and quantity of products. • Works with limited or no supervision • Must have knowledge of material speeds and feeds, fixturing and tooling. REASONING ABILITIES: • Uses good judgment; seeks advice and help when necessary. • Must be able to distinguish between acceptable and non-acceptable parts. Operators will be responsible for setting up, operating, cleaning, and troubleshooting filling equipment in a fast-paced, FDA-regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Operate filling equipment through all stages: setup, startup, operation, shutdown, and cleaning. Perform routine troubleshooting and report mechanical issues promptly. Execute CIP (Clean-in-Place) and COP (Clean-Out-of-Place) procedures, including chemical handling and manual equipment washing. Maintain production schedules and monitor product quality, reporting any deviations. Clear line jam-ups and restore production flow efficiently. Follow all GMPs, SOPs, and company policies. Conduct visual inspections and quality control checks throughout production. Use inventory systems to update stock levels and locate materials. Support other production areas and cross-train as needed. Ensure proper facility hookups and online circuit functionality. Cover breaks and staffing gaps as assigned. Report safety and food safety concerns immediately and take corrective action. Maintain clean and sanitary workspaces. Communicate effectively across shifts and departments. Qualifications & Skills Experience in general production and quality control. Ability to operate filling machines and perform manual labor tasks. Stone fabrication company with 20+ years in the industry seeking a skilled Stone Fabricator and/or Installer to join our team. As a Fabricator/Installer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to manufacturing, cutting, polishing, installing and preparing slabs of materials such as Quartz, Granite, Marble, etc. for residential and commercial projects. This is a hands-on role that requires proficiency in using hand tools, operating heavy equipment, and working with various masonry materials.
