This individual will also provide support related to the machining centers at our CNC plate and structural steel processing equipment. Experience in operating CNC Mills, and familiarity with most types of current tooling, are important considerations. This is a key position in our Plant, which will be highly compensated with the starting pay rate negotiable based on technical ability and work experience. The work load is on and off but averages maybe 20 hours a week and can be done off site after you understand the concepts. First we need some minimal design concepts to show the customers and if they order we need detail drawings. We have the system down and have been manufacturing these for over 35 years. The selected candidate will be responsible for: Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals Install, test, and commission new CNC grinding machines Provide training to customers on proper equipment operation and maintenance Document all service activities, including parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions Calibrate and adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical and hydraulic issues Warehouse management and equipment preparation when not traveling The selected candidate will also possess: Willingness to travel frequently as the job involves on-site installations and training at customer locations. Ability to lift heavy equipment or parts, as well as work in various environments, including industrial settings.
