Now Hiring/Full Time-Temporary Position: Experienced Pipelayers – Nashville, TN 📍 Location: 3041 Dickerson Pike, Nashville, TN 37207 💲 Pay Range: $28 - $32 per hour (Based on Experience) 🕒 Schedule: Monday – Friday, with some Saturdays as needed 📞 Contact: 615-915-2457 Job Description: We are seeking experienced Pipelayers to join our team in Nashville, TN. This role is essential in the installation of underground utility piping, including water, sewer, and storm drainage systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, experience in underground construction, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Responsibilities: - Install, align, and connect various types of pipes (PVC, ductile iron, concrete, etc.) for water, sewer, and drainage systems. - Use hand and power tools to cut, shape, and adjust pipe sections. - Perform pipe laying duties including setting structures, sealing joints, and installing gaskets. - Assist with backfilling, compacting, and site clean-up after pipe installation. - Follow safety procedures and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe work environment. - Work as part of a crew to meet daily and weekly production goals. Qualifications: ✔ Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Pipelayer in underground utility construction. ✔ Knowledge of pipe installation techniques, trenching, and grading. ✔ Ability to read blueprints, site plans, and follow job specifications. ✔ Familiarity with safety protocols and experience working in deep excavations. ✔ Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in physically demanding conditions. ✔ Strong teamwork and communication skills. ✔ Must have reliable transportation to and from the job site.
