Fitter for Structural Steel Fabrication Shop (Chehalis)

We have an opening for a fitter. We are a family owned structural steel fab shop looking for fulltime year around fitter. Summary of desired qualifications: - Applicants must have a minimum of 5 years experience working in the steel fabrication industry. - Familiarity with structural steel shop, fabrication tools, and machinery, including material handling equipment such as cranes and forklifts is required. - Must have WABO certified or have ability to get certified immediately. - Must be able to read and understand shop drawings and work independently. - Must have the ability to understand instructions and safety policies. - Structural Steel layout and fitting experience is required. - A layout / fit / welding test may be required prior to employment. Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00 40 Hours a week with occasional overtime.
