Must know how to work on classic vehicles, which includes basic maintenance such as oil changes, brakes and brake upgrades, and tune-ups. Engine and transmission swaps, installing fuel injection, and basic wiring. If you love the old classic's this is a great job for you. Own tools a plus. The pay will be determined by experience. Duties: *Perform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services. *Perform inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulics, suspension, brake, and air systems on fleet trucks, company trucks, and all equipment. *Ability to keep an up-to-date log book and track all maintenance dates, due dates, and services. *Inspect, repair, and maintain mechanical equipment. *Raise trucks and heavy parts, or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists. *Recondition and replace parts, pistons, bearings, gears, and valves. *Troubleshoot operational problems and determine a plan of action to remedy them. *Install equipment and other necessary components to meet the specifications. *Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance. *Performs service calls for emergency breakdowns.
