Service Technician

Job Title: Service Technician – Diesel & Heavy Equipment Location: Escondido, CA Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday Travel: Light travel may be required for off-site servicing Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our maintenance team. This position focuses on performing preventive maintenance, lube services, and inspections on diesel trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience with diesel engines and equipment servicing, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a service schedule. Key Responsibilities: Perform routine lube services and preventive maintenance on diesel trucks and heavy equipment Conduct scheduled 90-day and annual inspections in compliance with company and regulatory requirements Assist with scheduling and tracking equipment for routine maintenance Inspect, diagnose, and report equipment conditions, noting any safety or mechanical concerns Maintain accurate service records and documentation Travel as needed to service equipment at off-site locations Follow all company safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment Qualifications: Previous experience as a lube technician or in equipment/diesel maintenance preferred Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and heavy equipment service procedures Ability to perform inspections and complete service documentation accurately Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Valid driver’s license; CDL a plus but not required Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying outdoor conditions What We Offer: Competitive pay based on experience Steady Tuesday–Saturday work schedule Opportunities for training and advancement Supportive team environment with safety-first culture Vacation, Health Insurance
