Freedom Marine Sales & Service is a full service shop for Freedom Boat Club Seattle and the greater puget sound. We maintain and service over 170 boats a year with our main facility on South Tacoma way, Tacoma Wa. We only work on boats we own and they are all outboard engines. The position of a level 2-3 technician will mean you are part of a team who are motivated and driven to service all aspects of our vessels. Within this position you will be required to carry out a wide variety of tasks pertaining to outboard engines mechanical/electrical fixes. Other skills such as gelcoat, detailing and fabrication are an advantage but can also be taught in house. This position would suit someone who enjoys being on/in and around boats. An employment history of outboard engine work is needed here. You would be working mostly on Mercury/Yamaha 150/200 with some 250 work also. All of our engines are 3yrs old or less so no banger engine work in this shop.
