ShareApartment community in North Adams seeking an energetic and self-motivated maintenance worker to join our team on a part time basis. Must be organized, dependable, and have proven proficiency with painting, basic carpentry, plumbing and electrical work. Under direction will be responsible for the on-going maintenance and upkeep of buildings, equipment, facilities and grounds. Excellent communication skills are essential as this position involves coordinating on a regular basis with management and coworkers, residents, and subcontractors. All technicians participate in a rolling on-call calendar. BROAD SCOPE OF DUTIES: *repairs to building appliances and fixtures *repair or replace plumbing fixtures *patch holes in walls *paint building interiors *clean vacant units and interior spaces *miscellaneous carpentry repairs, good carpentry skills a plus! *change locks *grounds keeping, landscaping and snow removal Rate of pay is $20 to $22 per hour, depending on experience.
