Job Summary: The IPM Assistant will play a critical role in maintaining plant health through scouting, foliar sprays, root drenches and other IPM-related tasks. This role requires someone with a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and the ability to perform repetitive physical tasks safely and efficiently. Schedule: M-F 8am-4:30pm, includes holidays as needed unless PTO is approved. Key Responsibilities: Scout plants for signs of stress, pests and disease. Apply foliar sprays and root drenches accurately and safely. Wear full PPE for extended periods while performing tasks. Perform tasks at varying heights, including standing, bending and kneeling. Lift and move up to 50 lbs. safely. Participate in lift training and follow all safety protocols. Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a collaborative team environment. Qualifications: Previous experience in agriculture, horticulture, or cannabis cultivation preferred but not required. Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks for long periods of time. Strong work ethic and reliable attendance. Ability to follow instruction and safety protocols closely. Comfortable wearing full PPE during shifts. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1. JOB DESCRIPTION: This is a full-time, permanent position reporting to the General Manager, Purchasing Manager, and/or Shipping Manager. The Warehouse Assistant will work in the warehouse portion of our factory in the order picking, receiving and shipping departments. The ideal candidate will be highly self-directed and able to cross-train and learn a variety of tasks in all three areas. DiMarzio, Inc. is in the process of changing and expanding the way our warehouse operates, and we are looking for a bright, motivated employee who will be able to grow and change with us. This position is primarily a Monday to Friday, on-site job from 8:00am to 4:30pm at our facility in Staten Island. Overtime is not routine but is possible occasionally.
