Associate Librarian (on-call) (Florence, OR)

We're in need of a part time employee to learn about indoor plants and how to care for them at many of Tulsa's office buildings. In addition, we are hiring for Christmas decorators for the month of November. At Tropical Plant Design, we will be decorating indoor Christmas trees at many of Tulsa's offices, Hotels, Hospitals and office building lobbies. The work begins the first week of November and ends around December 1st. We come back to work at the end of December and take everything down and store until the second week of January. The work is weekdays from 9:00am to 5:00pm. We're looking to hire part time or full time during the month of November. Anyone who has an eye for decorating and a joyful attitude is welcome. Please don't think this is not for you. We will hire up to eight decorators. It's not demanding work, we want those who are responsible and are self starters and a willingness to work fast. The only requirement for a few of the workers is to be able to climb a 6'-10' ladder for decorating 12' lobby trees. All of the lifting and setting up of trees are preset. We are looking for event staff for Formula 1 at Circuit of the America’s here in Austin! The event will take place Friday Oct 17-Sun Oct 19. This event will take place over three days bringing over 100,000 people each day. The positions are outside the track, including parking attendants, ticket scanners, rideshare greeters, and other operations related positions. Duties will include waiving cars, assisting with traffic flow, scanning parking passes and assisting with giving directions. It’s a very easy, outdoor job, that requires standing/walking, and long hours. Shift times vary, starting as early as 5am and run into the evening. Most shift start times are in the 8a-10a range, and are 8-10 hr shifts daily. Pay will be $15/hr, as well as a $100 bonus for staff who work all 3 days of the event (minimum of 8hr shift each day).
