Are you a musician, singer, poet, storyteller, or comedian interested in trying public performance - maybe even for the first time? Come to open mic at Off The Rails brewpub in Sunnyvale and give it a shot! The vibe is supportive and welcoming, so don't be too worried that you might make a mistake (we all do sometimes). Open mic takes place every Tuesday from 7pm to 9pm at Off The Rails on Murphy Avenue in historic downtown Sunnyvale. Signups start at 6:30, and it's a lottery system so people who show up later might still get a chance to perform. You'll get about 5 minutes to do your thing on nights when a lot of people show up, which is enough time for a song or two.
