The Role: Server We’re looking for a professional, friendly, and detail-oriented Server - Bartender to join our Chelsea front-of-house team. Wipe down and reset tables with proper place settings (napkins, cutlery, glassware). Refill water glasses as needed. Assist in pre-bussing during service to keep tables uncluttered. Dining Room & Service Support Keep floors, chairs, and service areas clean and presentable. Carry food trays to and from kitchen when servers need support. Help servers by delivering bread, water, or condiments. Respond promptly when guests need extra napkins, cutlery, or high chairs. Back of House Support Bring dirty dishes and glassware to dishwashing area. Sort and organize dishes, utensils, and glassware properly for dishwashers. Restock service stations with napkins, utensils, water pitchers, and condiments. Teamwork & Hospitality Work closely with servers and hosts to ensure smooth service. Anticipate guest needs and act proactively (quietly and efficiently). Be attentive but not intrusive; move quickly and professionally. End of Shift Duties Reset dining room for next service (tables, chairs, floors, service stations). Restock supplies: napkins, utensils, condiments, water pitchers. Dispose of trash, recyclables, and linens in designated areas. Check with manager/server before leaving to ensure all duties are complete. Host/Hostess – from $18/hr Shifts: Thursday, Friday, Saturday · 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM We’re also seeking warm, welcoming, and professional hosts/hostesses. hello nyc friends~ tera nyc is opening november 1st on the lower east side. we're looking for full & part time baristas, wine bar foh staff/server and line cooks/sous chefs. tera is a hospitality brand that bridges nature and humanity by designing contemporary spaces that slow down consumption, sharing our curiosity of natural ingredients, processes and materials. our first lower east side space is small, but mighty. a cafe during the day + bar at night with an illuminated tatami listening room in the back. the front space is a standing-height bar where the fast pace of people walking by are met with the scent of house baked financiers, coffee & tea. each financier is presented on stone, as if they are pieces of compressed gold, inspired by a japanese/korean ingredient. during the day, the illuminated tatami listening room in the back is a space to slow down. guests take off their shoes, sip precious tea and slow-drip coffee while vinyl of the day play calmly in the background. at night, natural wine, sake and sool flow freely throughout the front & back space paired with small plates/snacks/anju inspired by wine bar classics & japanese/korean ingredients. natural ingredients and organic materials hug our architecturally focused space. black fusion quartzite countertops, clay plaster walls and concrete floors are contrast with soft korean sambe textile and tatami. staff adorn black textile shirts dyed as a team in house with korean soot, matching the coasters and napkins offered to our guests. tera nyc is a space where the vibrant & artistic energy of the lower east side can meet to celebrate and share the exciting stories were writing. please email us work experience/resume using craigslist
