Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated food truck Staff to join our team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidates will have a passion for food service and a commitment to providing exceptional customer experiences. This role involves various responsibilities, including food preparation, serving, and maintaining cleanliness in the restaurant. Duties Must have valid health card and transportation. * Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and standards. * Operate POS systems such as Aloha and Micros for order processing and payment transactions. * Provide excellent customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. * Upsell menu items to enhance the dining experience and increase sales. * Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures. * Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen and dining areas. * Assist with kitchen cleaning and ensuring a tidy restaurant environment. * Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the quality of food served. * Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient food truck operations. Qualifications * Previous experience in a quick service or fast food restaurant is preferred. * Culinary experience is a plus, along with knowledge of food preparation techniques. * Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment. * Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests. * Familiarity with POS systems (square) is advantageous. * Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math applications. * Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation standards is essential. * Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary. * Experience in the food industry, including serving, cashiering, cooking, prepping, is beneficial.
