Cafe Line cook/prep cook (SE Eugene)

The Little Lamb Gastropub is seeking a full time line cook. Applicants must be available on Fridays and Saturdays, but will have Sundays off. Knowledge of sauté, grill, and cold stations are preferred. Starting pay ranges between $17 and $19 hourly. Pay will increase with each station mastered. This includes assisting with campers checking in and out of campgrounds to which you will be required to learn and use the Federal Governments R1S system. You will also be responsible for the opening and closing of the main gate, daily drive throughs of the campground, and assisting Park Rangers as needed. Specific job duties for each site will be specified once applicants have been chosen for each site. We are looking for couples as this is a two-person job and we are only allowed to provide 1 RV space with full water and electric hookups. You will also be required to pass a criminal background check. We are searching for a banquet sous chef. We want someone who has experience in hotels or clubs and knows how to read a BEO and organize the food production for banquet events. This is not a job for "restaurant line cooks" , I need a a banquet sous chef that understands banquets. You will also be responsible for ordering, scheduling and inventories. Basically this will be your last sous chef position if you work with me for some length of time. That's what I do, I create executive chefs out of sous chefs. So, if you want to work your last sous chef job before becoming executive chef, this is the job for you. You will learn things working with us that you not learn anywhere else, and you will become a much better cook. I will pay top dollar for the right person and you will have a great team of cooks to work with. In this kitchen we speak English, Spanish and Russian.
