If you're fit, smart, a good communicator and have a clean driving record, you'll do well. We have an incredible team. Here's the schedule: Monday 9am to 5pm: help on the farm and prepare for the week ahead. So long as you are fit and active, you'll do great. We have folks from 18 years old to 65 who work side by side; you can do it. Tuesday 9am to 5pm: another day of fresh air and sunshine doing what it takes. No experience? No worries. Show up, try hard and you'll be fine. There's something for everyone! Wednesday 3pm to 9pm: Switch gears and help pack our veggie boxes starting in the afternoon. Fast paced, exciting and a real blast. Thursday 9am to 5pm: Delivery day! You'll ASSIST an experienced driver and start delivering boxes to neighborhoods all over the Bay Area. You'll take boxes from the van to the customer's front door. You may have to climb stairs and use elevators and call boxes. If you are interested in learning to drive a route this is the perfect training. Experienced delivery drivers will love our optimized, efficient routes and great vans. You'll get plenty of support and training. Friday 9am to 5pm: You're an old farmhand by now, so get out there and help deliver boxes like a pro! You grew it, now you're bringing it to happy families. Hiring Now: CAMP MANAGERS Maintain a clean and neat appearance. Deal with problems quickly and efficiently. Maintain good client communications at project level. Ensure job specific and safety training of employees. Train and direct all ESS associates, ensuring compliance with company and client safety requirements. Supervises associates to ensure the highest sanitary standards are maintained in all food serving, food storage, and accommodation areas in accordance with company, client, and governmental requirements. Ensure staff compliance with all ESS and Compass Group operating policies and procedures. Maintain confidentiality of all company policies and procedures. Contract compliance and ensure staff awareness of ESS’s contractual obligations. Record and/or monitor staff hours of work on a daily basis to ensure compliance with requirements and provide to payroll weekly. Ensure all health and safety and food safety issues are addressed and resolved promptly. When required conduct accident investigations complete necessary documentation. Administer the counting and recording of weekly and monthly inventories Responsible to control food, labor, purchasing and inventory costs Ensures that the Company’s policies and procedures for hygiene and food safety, quality assurance, human resources and occupational health and safety are applied. Ensure proper PPE is utilized at all times. Ensures good relations with the establishment’s management and customers while ensuring their complete satisfaction. Maintains superior product and service quality standards by conducting ongoing evaluations and investigating complaints. Initiates corrective action. Inspects kitchen equipment and appliances for needed repairs and submits maintenance request forms for equipment not functioning properly. Manages purchasing with a focus on minimizing dollars invested in physical inventories, complying with budgets, minimizing waste, and avoiding product shortages. Oversees preparation of all foodstuffs according to the menu and number of persons to be served, with a focus on quality, appearance, adequate production and stocking levels in all serving areas and minimizing leftovers and product waste. Assists in serving meals, remaining present at the serving line during meal periods to receive customer comments and feedback. COOKS Preparation of high-quality food items according to standardized recipes or instructions in an efficient manner in order to meet production, delivery and service schedules. Tastes all food items prepared. Use established ticket collection procedures during service. Responsible for records from area worked during service periods. Clean kitchen after preparation and serving, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and storing or discarding excess food properly per safe food handling procedures Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat. All food and supply items are to be stored per standards. Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed. Assist in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required. Assist in ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required. Report needed maintenance, faulty equipment, or accidents to the supervisor immediately. Attend in-service and/or safety meetings as required. Work effectively and maintain good working relationships with co-workers, customers, administrators, and Managers. HOUSEKEEPERS Launders, folds, and sorts linens daily. Ensures beds are properly made daily. Ensure cleanliness and well replenished supply of all rooms and common areas daily, including, but not limited to, guest/resident rooms, stairways, restrooms, lobbies, lounges, hallways, etc. Details afore mentioned areas frequently. Details including dusting, sweeping, polishing, and/or scrubbing of walls, ceiling, woodwork, windows, sills, door panels, floors, ashtrays, etc. Ensures cleanliness and placement of rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Segregates and removes trash and/or recyclable materials and places it in designated containers every day. Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans in appropriate and assigned areas when necessary. Inventory stock to ensure adequate supply regularly. Examines rooms, halls, lobbies, and other common areas to determine need for repairs and/or replacement of furniture and/or equipment in order to communicate these recommendations to maintenance. Complies with all outlined sanitation and safety requirements as well as SOPs when completing these tasks. Provides excellent customer service. Refill all condiments and stock as needed Sorts, counts, folds, marks, carries linens, makes beds. Cleans lobbies, bedrooms, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, weight rooms and stairways. Sweeps, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floor. Cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Dusts furniture. Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork. Washes windows, door panels, and sills. Washes pots, pans, and trays. Washes worktables, refrigerators, and meat blocks. Empties wastebaskets and empties and cleans ashtrays. Transports trash and waste to disposal area. Replenishes bathroom supplies. Obtains list of rooms that need to be cleaned. Inventories stock to ensure adequate supplies. Maintain a clean and neat appearance. Maintain good client and customer relations at project level. Undergo job specific, and company safety training. Performs duties to company and client safety requirements. Ensure the highest sanitary standards are maintained in all areas of responsibility in accordance with company, client, and governmental requirements.
