Personable admin assistant for part time work to help with general office duties for property management firm located in Winchester, VA. Must have reliable vehicle for local errands, good people/email writing experience, multi-page scanner at home with reliable computer/laptop. We are are looking for someone who is task and detail oriented. A good attitude is the basic key. Any real estate experience is a plus, but not necessary. Position Summary We are seeking a reliable, skilled, and all-around Handyman / Renovation Technician to join our construction team. This role is ideal for someone who can handle a wide variety of repair and renovation tasks and takes pride in quality work. Projects will range from light renovations and unit turns to general repairs across our single-family portfolio. Responsibilities Perform general repairs and maintenance on residential properties (carpentry, drywall, painting, light plumbing, light electrical, flooring, etc.) Assist with renovation projects including demolition, prep work, and finish work Complete work orders for occupied and vacant units in a timely manner Troubleshoot issues on-site and provide practical repair solutions Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members on project updates Ensure all work meets company quality standards Qualifications Proven handyman or construction experience (residential experience preferred) Skills in basic carpentry, drywall, painting, flooring, plumbing, and electrical Ability to problem-solve and work independently with minimal supervision Reliable transportation and basic tool set required Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work Professional, dependable, and safety-minded Compensation & Benefits Pay: $20–$30 per hour, based on experience and skill set Flexible scheduling available Opportunity to grow with an established, expanding real estate company

The Assistant Manager will help the Community Manager with day-to-day operation of the properties, administration of resident paperwork, completion of property accounting, reports, and work orders. This individual will support the Community Manager in enforcing Guardian Management policies and procedures, and to adhere to Fair Housing and Landlord Tenant Laws at all times. This position is responsible for coordinating with other property staff and vendors to provide outstanding customer service to the residents, maintain excellent curb appeal, provide well-timed and proactive property maintenance, safeguard the good financial health and stability of the properties, confirm timely compliance with all government and property program requirements, and complete all required paperwork and reports on time. For this position, we need a dynamic self-starter who enjoys working with others and excels in a fast-paced office environment. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, professional, and communicative with previous LIHTC experience (preferred).
