Do you want to live in a dream location, beautiful house, and you love animals? Then maybe this is for you! This is a stunning and beautifully decorated 3-bedroom 3-level 1902 craftsman house in a great neighborhood. The house is recently remodeled and retains all of the charm of an old craftsman, but feels fresh and clean. Location is everything! Walking distance to Amazon, South Lake Union, even Downtown. Multiple bus lines nearby, and a short 10 minute walk to Capitol Hill Light Rail station. Blocks from Broadway. On Bellevue and Roy, right around the Corner from Top Pot. In the heart of everything, but our street is actually pretty quiet. We have 3 floors, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, laundry, huge gorgeous kitchen with lovely tile counters (with dishwasher and disposal,) hard wood floors everywhere, small yard with gardening potential, deck out front and a patio in the back, fireplaces upstairs and down, great natural light, and lots of cozy charm. Available room is downstairs (below the main shared floor) and is a nicely-appointed daylight basement with a private bathroom and closet. Your room can be furnished or unfurnished. The rest of the house is fully furnished. The other two bedrooms are two floors up from your room. $950/month for the downstairs room, plus 1/3 utilities. We share all utilities. We also have a house cleaner every other week, which averages ~$59/visit each (makes for easier household relations!) Room could potentially available short term for $1300, all inclusive. Compared to the cost of a studio or 1-bedroom apartment in this neighborhood, living here is more economical, and you get an entire gorgeous house to enjoy. No TV in any shared living spaces (your room is fine). We do have fast wireless internet. Street parking only. Pets: You REALLY need to be a pet lover. You’ll share a home with a sweet, mellow, small, non-shedding dog, two friendly and hilarious, though sometimes noisy parrots, and a ton of house plants. A very good dog with excellent references and little-to-no prey drive could be considered. We have a small yard. No cats (allergic.) I am a nurse and I work odd hours. I'm independent, more introverted than extroverted (although I also love social situations), left-leaning, non-religious, and open-minded. I enjoy music, dancing, electronic music, acro, hiking/backpacking, yoga, festivals (Burning Man, BassCoast, Imagine, etc.) photograpy, the outdoors, and living a full and vibrant life. Cis female. We're looking for a professional of any gender and any sexual orientation, open minded, maybe a Burner/festival-type, no addictions, steady and decent income (it's not a cheap house), who wants to live in a social home but doesn't want to have parties or late-night noisy gatherings at home. Someone who wants a beautiful sweet home base to come home to after a night of playing is ideal. We'd like to share occasional meals and activities, but are not looking for a "communal" house, as we're quite independent. Though the two current housemates are cis/straight, we have had many LGBTQ housemates here over the years, and any gender or sexual orientation is absolutely welcome. We like a clean and tidy, uncluttered house, so your baseline should be the same. Really. It's important to have a home that feels safe, comfortable, nurturing, and peaceful. Harmony of the relationships in the house is central for us. We're hoping to find a housemate to share in an easy comfort at home, and whose lives we can mutually enrich with new interests and people. Downstairs room available Nov 1. An upstairs bedroom will also be available at the end of December; see last photo ($1100/month + 1/3 utilities)
