Responsibilities: Operate a Volvo semi-truck with a 53-foot dry van trailer. Pick up and drop off freight to designated locations. Fulfill customer delivery requirements and specifications. Follow all DOT and FMCSA regulations. Compliance with Hours-of-Service regulations using Motive tracking software. Physically perform the duties of the driver position, such as getting in and out of the vehicle, completing pre-trip inspections and keeping the truck clean. Qualifications: Be at least 21 years of age. Hold a valid CDL Class A and a DOT medical long form with a certificate. Have a clean driving record or minimal violations. Have not failed or refused a DOT drug or alcohol screen in the last 5 years. Have at least 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience. Have not switched more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years. Be able to pass a drug screen and be enrolled in our DOT-certified random drug and alcohol screening program. Familiarity with Electronic Logbook. Maintain a polite and professional attitude. CLASS A CDL DRIVERS NEEDED (Henderson)
Steve Schmidt Trucking is looking to hire more class a cdl drivers for end dump work in henderson colorado. Pay is 30 percent of what the truck makes with no fuel charge or hidden fees. Most of the trucks average 110-130 a hour. Trucks have a lot of work at all times. Home every day and mostly local. The fleet consists of peterbilt and kenworths all flat hoods with caterpillar engines and 13/18 speeds. Trailers are all end dumps either rock trailers, high sides, or aluminum. Must have a fairly clean driving record and a little experience for insurance to allow us to insure you. OWNER OPERATORS NEEDED 88% OF GROSS
Owners, We are a smaller company looking for more owner ops to haul our dedicated freight! Freight is very consistent in volume, and dedicated. Dry van freight, not very time consuming since 50% of it is drop and hook, and usually comes in round trips. I do not like to waste anyone's time so I will be as transparent as possible. Freight: Mostly west coast, CO, CA, AZ, NV, OR, WA, ID, WA, OR, TX, as well as occasional midwest and south. All our loads start in CO and come back to CO. This is a OTR position ONLY, we do NOT do regional. Gross: This part is ENTIRELY up to you. Our owners gross between (min) $6,500 to $8,500 a week when doing our dedicated freight. If you stay out 5 days, you cannot make this gross. The freight I have is there, consistent, all the time, the rest is up to you. You get paid for any detention, layovers, as well as clean inspection bonuses. Deductions: We take 12% from gross. Our trailer rental is $275 a week, and cargo is $300 a week. We do offer fuel cards and we get discounts everywhere. Prepass ( if you don't have your own ), is $25 a month, and ELD (we use Keep Trucking ), is $45 a month. What we are looking for: If your MVR is NOT clean, and full of tickets, accidents, or violations, please do not contact us, we will not hire you. Our safety score is perfect and we intend to keep it that way. If you have LESS than 2 years of experience, I cannot hire you due to insurance requirements. If your truck is about to fall apart, reconsider contacting us. We are looking for good communication, honesty, work ethic, and someone who does NOT need to be micromanaged and babysat 24 hours a day. If I have to do that, then you are not fit for the job.
