Assigned Truck: All of our trucks are Volvos, well maintained by our certified mechanics. Multilingual Staff: We speak English, Spanish, Russian, Ukrainian, and Bosnian. Compensation Type: 1099 contractor (paid via ACH or check) Extra Perks: Fuel, tolls, CAT scales, and extra stops are covered. Responsibilities: Operate a Volvo semi-truck with a 53-foot dry van trailer. Pick up and drop off freight to designated locations. Fulfill customer delivery requirements and specifications. Follow all DOT and FMCSA regulations. Compliance with Hours-of-Service regulations using Motive tracking software. Physically perform the duties of the driver position, such as getting in and out of the vehicle, completing pre-trip inspections and keeping the truck clean. Qualifications: Be at least 21 years of age. Hold a valid CDL Class A and a DOT medical long form with a certificate. Have a clean driving record or minimal violations. Have not failed or refused a DOT drug or alcohol screen in the last 5 years. Have at least 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience. Have not switched more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years. Be able to pass a drug screen and be enrolled in our DOT-certified random drug and alcohol screening program. Familiarity with Electronic Logbook. Maintain a polite and professional attitude.
