Independent Contractor – Sprinter Van or Box Truck Driver Deyo Street Logistics Job Type: Independent Contractor Location: Various Counties in Tennessee Start Time: 6:45 a.m. About the Role Deyo Street Logistics is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Independent Contractor with a Sprinter Van or Box Truck to join our delivery operations. This role requires punctuality, professionalism, and a strong commitment to meeting delivery deadlines. Key Responsibilities · Arrive at the distribution center in Nashville, TN at 6:45 a.m. each day. · Load cargo onto your Sprinter Van or Box Truck. · Depart the distribution center at 7:00 a.m. to begin your delivery route. · Deliver office products to multiple locations across various Tennessee counties. · Make up to 40 scheduled stops per day, hours 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. A company-provided tablet with pre-loaded routes. · Handle all deliveries with care and accuracy. · Maintain timely communication with dispatch if delays or issues arise. Requirements Must own or lease a High Roof Sprinter Van or Box Truck in good condition. · Must carry valid auto insurance and provide proof upon request. · Maintain all necessary licenses and permits to operate in Tennessee. · Ability to lift, load, and unload safely. · Strong time management skills and commitment to punctuality. · Smartphone/tablet literacy to navigate delivery routes. Compensation · $1,000 per week, with a $50 weekly increase after 30 days. · Contractor is responsible for fuel and vehicle maintenance/insurance. · Deliveries are time-sensitive – on-time performance is critical.
