Please note: This is for a holiday rental only, from December 20, 2025 until January 3, 2026. Looking for a place to stay in New York over the holidays this year? We are looking for a responsible person or two to stay in our beautiful brownstone apartment in Bed Stuy. Dates are from the 20th of December until January 3, two weeks in total. This is our home, so we are looking for someone who is responsible and will respect our space. That said, we are unable to accommodate pets or children as we have lots of breakable items in the apartment. About the apartment... It is a one bedroom with a large open-plan kitchen / dining room, plus another street-facing living room with a sofa, TV and an upright piano which you are welcome to use, plus its own bathroom. The bedroom is in the rear of the building so it's nice and quiet back there. There's a queen-sized bed with an en-suite bathroom. The apartment is on the first floor, parlor level (so up one flight from the street to the building entrance, but no more stairs other than that). There is an in-unit washer/dryer, a dishwasher, central heat, and a fully stocked kitchen, as well as a record player with loads of records for you to enjoy. We are in a great neighborhood, about a 10-12 minute walk to the JMZ subway, 20 minutes to the G, or 20 minutes to the AC train, plus busses nearby take you all over Brooklyn. There are so many excellent restaurants within a 10 minute walk in any direction, as well as lots of fun bars, multiple grocery stores, and local shops. You can be in Manhattan within 30 minutes. We haven't put one up yet, but there will most likely be a Christmas tree in the front window, as well, making for a super cozy place to spend your holidays.
