NOW HIRING: Operator Location: East Syracuse, NY Pay: $24.50/hr Shift: Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | Rotating Schedule (3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off) Position Overview We are seeking reliable and detail-oriented Operators to join our production team and monitor machinery. This role is essential to the efficient operation of our dairy manufacturing process, ensuring high standards of safety, quality, and productivity. Operators will be responsible for setting up, operating, cleaning, and troubleshooting filling equipment in a fast-paced, FDA-regulated environment. Key Responsibilities Operate filling equipment through all stages: setup, startup, operation, shutdown, and cleaning. Perform routine troubleshooting and report mechanical issues promptly. Execute CIP (Clean-in-Place) and COP (Clean-Out-of-Place) procedures, including chemical handling and manual equipment washing. Maintain production schedules and monitor product quality, reporting any deviations. Clear line jam-ups and restore production flow efficiently. Follow all GMPs, SOPs, and company policies. Conduct visual inspections and quality control checks throughout production. Use inventory systems to update stock levels and locate materials. Support other production areas and cross-train as needed. Ensure proper facility hookups and online circuit functionality. Cover breaks and staffing gaps as assigned. Report safety and food safety concerns immediately and take corrective action. Maintain clean and sanitary workspaces. Communicate effectively across shifts and departments. Qualifications & Skills Experience in general production and quality control. Ability to operate filling machines and perform manual labor tasks. Strong understanding of safety and sanitation practices. Additional Qualifications: Ability to apply basic to advanced math concepts. Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English.
