Looking for a forever home! Ellie is a 30 lb 6-year-old mini Aussie with a big heart, big brain, and a lot of love to give. She's house-trained, snuggly, great on a leash, and amazing in the car. She needs daily exercise (think: serious fetch with hard running) and thrives with mental stimulation. She does well with calm dogs and is super gentle with small animals. She's pretty good with kids but hasn't lived with them. Her ideal home is low-traffic - lots of strangers in and out stresses her out. She's barky with new people but never mean, and she bonds deeply with “her” person. If you are interested in Ellie please put the word PUMPKIN in the subject line to weed out spam. She’d be an amazing agility or sport dog. If you love sensitive, smart weirdos who want to be your ride-or-die - Ellie’s your girl. ? She's great with other dogs, pretty good with cats ( she will try to herd them), great with chickens and livestock, and great with kids when she's calm but if she's barky can make them nervous. Ellie came to me because her previous owner had her in an apartment with a very busy schedule. This did not work for our girl. Because I run a small business people are in and out of my house all day and this is reeeeeally stressful for Ellie. She needs a low traffic home that gets her vibe! I want to see Ellie happy and at peace, but if she's the right dog for you you must agree that if you cannot keep her for any reason you will return her to me.
