About the Position and Responsibilities You’ll work within a “studio” that offers the dual advantages of a small office environment coupled with access to the centralized resources of a larger firm. You'll be supported by some of the most sophisticated technology in the profession, including proprietary computer systems and software, reality capture, and image processing, artificial intelligence, digital asset management, non-destructive diagnostic equipment and techniques. The Electrical Design Engineer will work as part of the Buildings Electrical Design team in all facets of commercial building engineering.  The Electrical Designer is responsible for: - Power distribution, including riser diagrams and panel schedules. - Low voltage infrastructure design for IT and security systems. - Lighting design, including fixture selection and controls; and lighting calculations. - Low-voltage systems including fire alarm, security and controls. - Calculate loads, fault current, and voltage drop. - Performing field surveys and construction phase support. Preferred Qualifications: EIT (FE) or PE Certification. Experience in power distribution and low-voltage systems. Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and standard industry design practices. The Building Engineering Division at LaBella provides complete building engineering services including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural engineering. Services range from feasibility studies and analysis through project design and construction. Our engineers are well versed in new construction, renovations, additions, analysis, special structures, and design/build projects for a variety of clients. The Structural Discipline provides structural engineering services with emphasis on new design, repair, and rehabilitation of constructed works, as well as investigation and performance evaluation. This position will work closely under the supervision of a Senior Structural Engineer to develop concepts, strategies, designs, drawings, specifications and reports. Description: The Laser Tracker Operator is responsible for performing precision 3D measurements using laser tracking equipment to support manufacturing, assembly, quality assurance, and inspection processes. This role requires technical expertise in metrology, a strong understanding of engineering drawings. Pay Range: $45-$50 Hourly Requirements Duties and Responsibilities: Set up and operate laser tracker equipment (API) to capture high-precision 3D measurements. Perform alignment, assembly, and inspection tasks on mechanical parts, tools, fixtures, or large assemblies. Interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) from blueprints and CAD models to ensure parts and assemblies meet requirements. Generate detailed measurement reports and communicate results with engineers, machinists, and quality personnel. Calibrate and maintain metrology equipment according to manufacturer and internal standards. Document procedures and best practices for repeatability and continuous improvement. Support quality assurance and production teams with first article inspections (FAI), in-process verification, and final inspection. Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required. 3-5 years of experience operating laser trackers. Familiarity with API laser tracker is preferred. Proficient in laser tracker software. Experience with Verisurf is a plus. Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprints, and 3D CAD files. Familiarity with aerospace standards is a plus. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a shop environment. Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and written/verbal communication. Skills Preferred Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs. Must be comfortable working in manufacturing, or clean room environments. Working Conditions: Primarily in a shop environment.
