PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Utilize dedicated equipment and software: o To gather and interpret natural gas compressor/engine performance and health data. o Conduct vibration and pulsation surveys. o Assist maintenance personnel on inspections and troubleshooting. • Compile, trend and analyze data to enhance maintenance and improve reliability. • Evaluate fluid analysis data and make repair/replacement recommendations. • Apply engine and compressor modeling strategies to enhance performance and improve control system accuracy. • Develop spreadsheets for trending and analysis of equipment performance and health. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: • Associate’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or related field • Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude, including a working knowledge of internal combustion engines, compressors, and controls and instrumentation. • Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications including Excel, Work and Outlook. • Able to effectively organize, plan, prioritize, document, and complete work with a minimum of supervision. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Bachelor’s degree in engineering • Prior mechanical/operating experience on various compressor engine types and electronic/pneumatic instrumentation troubleshooting • Formal engine and compressor analyzer degrees and/or certifications are a plus.
